5:30-7:30 p.m. at Mana Christian ‘Ohana hall
Tickets On Sale Now!
The gala is open to 500 attendees and tickets are on sale online at (add website link) and Parker Ranch Store in Waimea. Tickets will be $50 pre-sale and $60 at the door if any tickets are still available. Graze at 20 culinary stations, plus beverage booths, both inside and out of the Old Kahilu Town Hall, now known as Mana Christian ‘Ohana hall.
Top island chefs are featuring dishes made using pasture-raised beef and other local meats: pork, goat and lamb. In addition, this year’s Taste offers some new veggie-centric stations, tasty desserts by local college culinary students and non-alcoholic beverages.
Culinary chair Sandy Barr Rivera says two chefs are excited to prepare dishes using more mature beef than usually found in our markets; “it is known in ranching circles to be rich in flavor with a good texture.”
